Steve Whyte is a composer based in Wakefield providing music licensing for TV, Film, video games, corporate presentations, product launches, commercials, online videos and Radio worldwide. Steve is currently working with some of the biggest production music libraries in the industry.
Steve is a B.A Hons music graduate from Leeds college of music where he studied popular music for three years. Before this he completed a two year Music Diploma at Rotherham college of arts and technology. He has been playing music from a very young age and has had the opportunity to play in many different musical groups touring the U.K. Two of his greatest musical experiences so far have been supporting the Human League at Houghton Tower and performing on stage with legendary Saxon guitarist Graham Oliver.
His work has been used in shows such as Mythbusters, Outback Truckers, Countryfile, Top Of The Shop with Tom Kerridge, SAS: Are you tough enough, various companies such as Citroen, Nike, Belcolade. Steve also has experience writing for video games and wrote the soundtrack for the mobile game Bombtastic.
